The course has a particular emphasis on creative practice in digital technologies.
Applications from those with experience working in the media industries and from graduates of undergraduate degrees that offer practice are welcome; applicants must already have experience in audio visual production and show evidence by a portfolio of their work; international applications who satisfy the University�s English language requirements may apply.
The course provides training in: research; production; post production; exhibition and distribution skills; as well as integrating a theoretical understanding of documentary history and production.

Scholarships are available from the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission and the Irish Language Broadcasting Fund; international students maybe eligible for British Council Awards.
