This course is designed for library staff in the public and private sectors, in education including schools, colleges or universities and in specialist libraries or information units.

Entry requirements

A degree, either from a university in the UK, or the Republic of Ireland, or from any institution recognised by Senate for this purpose - or hold its professional equivalent; be employed, or work on a voluntary basis, in an information and library service environment.

The library in its environment; improving library practice; leadership in libraries for the future; research design and initiation.
