The School welcomes applications for post-graduate study by research, and provides a supportive environment for post-graduate students in terms of supervision; methodological training; ongoing financial support for conference attendance/fieldwork etc; and financial support to post-graduate led research initiatives.

Entry requirements

You must satisfy the general entry requirements for admission to a 1st degree programme, and hold a GCSE pass in English at grade C or above (or equivalent); the Faculty of Social Sciences will accept Essential Skills Level 2 Communication as equivalent to GCSE English Language; A Level - BBB; Irish Leaving Certificate - BBBBB; BTEC National Diploma = DDM; Access = 70 - 71 percent; HND = 3D 1M 4P in final year; Scottish Highers = AABCC; International Baccalaureate = 25.
