International Business

This course inculcates a knowledge of skills in, and an aptitude for, international business; course enables students to acquire an understanding of the political, social and cultural aspects of different trade blocs, particularly in the European Union, Asia and the USA; provides a coherent academic progression for students who will explore the overall environment in which international business takes place before focusing on management issues in international firms.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in management-related area or equivalent; exceptional entry considered.

Course modules

Modules include: The international business environment; international management; international marketing; e-business; business research methods; international entrepreneurship or leadership and human resource management in a global context; global policy and strategy; field consulting; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessments are based on coursework and examinations.
