The programme enables students to acquire a knowledge and understanding of the political, social and cultural aspects of different trade blocs, particularly the European Union, Asia and the USA; it is designed to provide a coherent academic progression for students who explore the overall environment in which international business takes place before focusing on management issues in international firms.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant management-related area from a recognised institution, or an equivalent academic or professional qualification; exceptional entry considered; interview may be required.

Course modules

International business environment; international management; business research methods; international leadership; human resource management; international marketing; electronic business; global policy and strategy international entrepreneurship plus dissertation for MSc.

Assessment methods

Assessments are based on coursework.
