International Hospitality Management

This programme enhances individual management potential by developing skills in the analysis of change and in problem solving, broadening knowledge and increasing the ability to make, implement and evaluate decisions; the programme includes a 5 day study trip to carry out research.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent from a recognised institution; appropriate professional experience considered; postgraduate diploma or certificate; a degree or equivalent from a recognised institution or at least 5 years' management experience in a related field.

Course modules

Events, hospitality and tourism dynamics; hospitality operations development; managing across cultures; masters dissertation; strategic brand management; strategic financial analysis; strategic risk management; postgraduate industrial placement.

Assessment methods

These include group work, presentations, online debates, report writing, industry research projects, seminars and an examination.
