Global Meetings and Events Management
This course seeks to enhance candidates� in-depth appreciation of the complex strategic and operational management tools that are applicable in the events industry, and supported by current theory theories, facilitating graduates with the ability to solve executive problems. Adopting a social science approach, the learning looks to explore and critique the finite operational and business issues with a view to adding value at corporate business level. The social interaction of people within the wider environment will form a basis for discourse and underpin the concepts examined.
Applicants must provide evidence of ability to benefit from and succeed on a programme of study at Master's level. The usual entry qualification is a good degree in a related discipline from a recognised university, or, candidates that hold at least 5 years' management experience in a relevant field coupled with appropriate educational qualifications to support the contention of ability to benefit and succeed on the programme.
