Students undertake research work in all the theological disciplines, as well as work in conjunction with religious studies; in recent years the school has developed a particularly strong research base in New Testament studies, reformed theology, practical theology and systematic theology; research interests include: Church history; Old Testament; New Testament; practical theology; systematic theology.
Upper Second Honours degree or its equivalent, normally in a field of study appropriate for the proposed field of research; all applicants whose mother tongue is not English will normally require IELTS 6.5, with minimum writing score 6.0, or TOEFL 580 with Test of Written English 4.5 and certificates should be sent with applications.
