This programme explores the interaction between Christian faith and the wider spirituality of contemporary culture, with particular concern for the challenges and opportunities this offers in the context of the life and ministry of the Church, both in Scotland and internationally.
Candidates must normally have an Honours degree to at least 2.1 standard in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualifications and experience. English proficiency is required.
Core modules: Theological research in the university; dissertation colloquium; research skills. Optional modules include: Pastoral care and counselling; the use of the Bible in theology; Bible in ministry spirituality, health and healing; the Church and secular society, justice and reconciliation.
Assessment methods include a dissertation of 20,000 words on a topic related to the degree
