International Arbitration

The programme aims to provide distance learning opportunities for legal professionals seeking to develop their career profile and professional skills set as well as gaining specialist legal knowledge through taught modules.

Entry requirements

Normally a 2.1 Honours degree in law or another related discipline or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Critical and analytical skills; international commercial arbitration; international commercial arbitration in the Asia Pacific; international investment arbitration in the energy sector; professional arbitration skills.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by course work, by written examination, or by a combination of these, as prescribed for each course. Candidates will be expected to attend examinations in person, either at Aberdeen or in another recognised educational centre (for example British Council office).
