University of Aberdeen
The course focuses in particular on the broadly defined areas of financial accounting including international accounting, public sector accounting and critical perspectives on management accounting. Accountancy staff also foster collaborative interdisciplinary and international research which further strengthens its research base. Staff regularly visit universities in Europe, USA and elsewhere as well as hosting visiting staff and seminars.
Funding is available for researchers to support them during their period of study. Dedicated to creating a community of research excellence, acheivement, and innovation, we have a funding database of scholarships designed to fund your studies. External sources of funding are also available; these are best approached once you identify a supervisor for the project you wish to carry out.
