The programme is suitable for students who wish to specialise in any of the areas of research in the department which are: Algebra and geometry; analysis and differential equations; mathematical control theory; industrial applied mathematics; mathematical biology; numerical analysis; continuum mechanics of solids and fluids; statistics; probability.

Entry requirements

1st or upper 2nd Class Honours degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject; IELTS 6.5 (with not less than 6.0 in each of the 4 components).
