Art Design and Internet Technologies
This course examines key new media concepts, featuring both theoretical and practical approaches to the subject; the curriculum is highly flexible, enabling students to tailor their studies to their individual interests and career ambitions; they can choose from a number of units that address various aspects of media; they even have the option of specialising in their own particular area of interest.
A degree (minimum 2.2) or a postgraduate qualification in media studies; evidence of interest in design and media; English to Master�s standard (TOEFL score).
Modules include: emerging interactive technologies; multimedia applications; contemporary issues in art and design; visual culture and critical theory; studio practice as research; professional studio practice.
Practical work; essays; presentations.
