Digital Film Technologies and Production
1st degree or a postgraduate qualification such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Media or equivalent qualifications in related subjects, such as mass communications, communication studies, English, film and literary studies; applicants are expected to produce a DVD portfolio of digital film and other media work; they should include at least 2 pieces of work in this portfolio submission; they are then interviewed about how they produced the pieces in their DVD portfolio; staff then assess the prospective student's aptitude and suitability for the course.
Modules include: digital film production technologies; digital film technology project; insights and interviews; practical post-production and digital effects; practical production techniques; production roles and responsibilities; project development; script to screen; studio technologies and techniques.
