This Master's degree in education helps students develop the skills and knowledge to effectively make informed decisions about how to progress the department or the school; it also enhances continuous professional development and support the development of a career should students wish to seek management or headship positions; during this course students benefit from the opportunity for professional progression in education, either in classroom practice or educational leadership; are able to study part-time to fit in with existing work commitments; gain the chance to tailor the course to suit their individual needs and preferences; develop their practice with the support of a motivated and experienced postgraduate team; and specialise in special educational needs.

Entry requirements

Course participants will need to: be practising teachers or other educators working in the area of special educational needs provision in schools or other educational institutions; have regular (i.e. several times a week) access to a computer.
