This is a flexible course and is designed for those with an interest in education in the context of medicine and/or health. The programme is suitable for: hospital doctors; GPs; dentists; nurses; midwives; allied health professionals working in the NHS; deans of higher education and other independent sector workers.
A degree (or equivalent qualification or experience) in medicine, dentistry, nursing, allied health professions or social care; or those wishing to develop their knowledge of education, training and leadership in the context of medicine, health or social care; evidence of teaching or training abilities; pre-course meeting to discuss mutual requirements; basic ICT skills with access to off campus word processing and internet facilities (broadband desirable); a suitable high standard of English is required; APL routes are potentially available.
