Information Systems and Business Management

Students study applications in business organisations, such as enterprise resource planning, web analytics, social networking, cloud computing and business intelligence. Another theme addresses the rapid rates of change in IT by focusing on the importance of achieving effective interaction of IT/IS with business strategy.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree at Honours level, or equivalent. Overseas students are expected to have a strong command of English with an overall score of IELTS 6.0. In-course language support will be available for those students in need of extra language support.

Course modules

Business data analysis; digital business management; financial analysis; information systems and business management dissertation; intercultural business contexts; managing people; marketing; strategic management of information systems; web analytics.

Assessment methods

Individual essays, reports presentations and examinations, and group based reports and presentations.
