International Finance and Banking

This programme is designed to improve undergraduate skills in finance by specialist study at Master's level students are based within easy commuting distance of London's finance and banking centres and have access to real world resources and placements to aid learning; students benefit from excellent contacts with the Securities and Investments institute.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a good 1st degree in a relevant subject, for example, accounting, finance, banking and economics, or closely related disciplines at Honours level, or equivalent.

Course modules

Theory and practice of finance; financial modelling; banking and financial intermediation; advances in corporate finance; corporate banking; international finance; financial markets; financial strategy and enterprise; research methods; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Written essay, time-constrained written examinations, oral presentation, project design and written dissertation.
