Business Administration (Finance)
The Full-time MBA (Finance) is a generalist programme giving students a broad knowledge of business and opening the potential as a base for a focus on finance in the second half of the programme. As such it should help students to join an employer in a variety of positions, with a natural expectation that finance would be a preferred career route. It also gives students an appreciation of the roles of most functions within an organisation, helping them to co-operate effectively with future colleagues in cross-functional tasks.
Applicants should have: an Honours degree in any discipline from a recognised higher education institution; where English is not the 1st language: IELTS: 6.0 or equivalent is required.
Core modules: marketing for managers; leading people in organisations; managing operations and projects; accounting and finance for decision makers; strategic management; corporate finance; foundations of investment theory; finance and the capital markets executive development project; management practice theory into practice: project (finance).
