Business Administration (Information Technology Management)

This course gives students a broad knowledge of business and opens the potential for them to join an employer in a variety of positions. It also gives students an appreciation of the roles of most functions within an organisation, helping students to co-operate effectively with future colleagues in cross-functional tasks.

Entry requirements

Applicants require: an Honours degree in any discipline from a recognised higher education institution; for international students English competence of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required.

Course modules

Core units: leading and managing organisational resources; strategy and the competitive environment; digital technology management; management practice; theory into practice (technology management). Optional units: finance; digital marketing and communications; human resource management; project management.

Assessment methods

Written reports; business reports; project plans; seminar papers; project reports.
