Information Technology Management
This course is taught on the basis of a supported learning with the use of resources such as study guides and podcasts, and a live online classroom that combines traditional contact with lecturers with the use of new media; with the academic groundwork undertaken through self-directed individual and group study, the traditional face-to-face sessions become focused quality time for critical discussion and application of business and management models to real-life business problems.
An Honours degree in any discipline from a recognized higher education institution; appropriate management experience of at least 2 years (or equivalent); for international students English competence of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required; special entry is available for those with no degree but with extensive management experience; special entry is available for those with no management experience (33 per cent of the total cohort) but with a 1st class degree.
Accounting and finance for decision makers; application of project management methodologies; executive development project; exploiting information systems strategy (MBA); leading people in organisations; management of data (MBA); management practice; managing operations and projects; marketing for managers; strategic management; theory into practice project; theory into practice project (it management); utilising emerging technologies; leading and managing people.
