Modern Greek Studies

This programme introduces the recent developments in the areas of modern Greek language, literature, history and culture. It comprises a major individual research project, supervised by a specialist in the field of study, and taught elements which provide a solid grounding in scholarship of modern Greek studies.

Entry requirements

Applicants don't need to have a degree in the subject, but do need experience in the subject area of their research project.

Course modules

Compulsory module: research training. Optional Modules: modernism and Greek poetry; Greek fiction: from realism to postmodernism; Greek politics and culture since the Civil War.
