Designed to develop students understanding of medieval history, or introduce them to it if they have not studied it before; this is a research degree with some provision for taught modules.
A good Honours degree or overseas equivalent; accreditation of prior learning (APL) may also be accepted; English language requirements may apply for international students.
The degree consists of 3 elements: the thesis; 2 core modules; a research training module.
