Antiquity (Classics and Ancient History Pathway)
Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have one of the following: TOEFL, 8 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing. IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band. Pearson
Test of English (PTE) Academic 59 in all 4 skills. Cambridge English: Advanced Minimum overall score of 176, with no less than 169 in any component.
2 core language modules, at least 1 which should be Greek or Latin, from a range which includes: beginners Greek; beginners Latin; advanced Greek; advanced Latin; modern languages. Students will also study a 3rd core module in research and scholarship. Students choose three optional modules, at least 2 of which should relate to Classics and ancient history. Options available may include: cities in the ancient world; Greek drama since 1900; Herodotus and ancient worlds.
