History of Art
This program is aimed at those who wish to move beyond undergraduate work and to engage in research in depth, but also wish to take modules that help to develop research and related skills. The student will have the opportunity to curate either an art exhibition or film event and undertake a work placement in either the art or film exhibition sector.
2.1 (Hons) in a relevant subject
Criticism and methods in the history of art; visual culture; aesthetics and the philosophy of art; cultural analysis; art, heritage and digital cultures.
History of Art students are eligible to apply for the Haywood Scholarship; other scholarships/funding may also be available.
