Materials for Sustainable Energy Technology

This programme can be taken on a full or part-time basis. The programme comprises 1 major research project in materials for sustainable energy technologies, which can be based in the university or in industry, plus 6 taught modules, 5 compulsory and 1 optional.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree (minimum 2.1) or equivalent in science or engineering; English language requirements may apply for international students.

Course modules

Compulsory modules: introduction to materials; materials for sustainable environmental technologies; materials characterisation; effective project management; presentation and communication skills/team skills development; optional modules: materials for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies; materials for energy generation and storage; functional materials.
