Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences

The school's research mission is a scientifically rigorous approach to the study of sport, physical activity, exercise, and health; research involves an interdisciplinary approach integrating the expertise and analytical skills of the school's 5 overlapping research groups: Behavioural medicine; cardiovascular and respiratory physiology; exercise metabolism; human movement; sport and exercise psychology.

Entry requirements

Entrance to the PhD requires at least an Upper 2nd Class degree, while MPhil registration requires a relevant 1st degree and evidence of ability to undertake research.

Course modules

Active lifestyles; effective learning; maximal performance; movement rehabilitation; healthy ageing.

Thesis.
