Research interests include: molecular mechanisms underlying platelet activation in health and disease; regulation of the circulation in normal human subjects and in patient groups; in-vitro modelling of the cellular pathology of atherosclerosis; mechanisms underlying cardioprotection following myocardial ischaemia reperfusion injury; stroke and bleeding risk in atrial fibrillation.
