Health Economics and Econometrics

This programme is suitable for new graduates hoping to pursue a career in health economics or for those currently working in the health care sector who wish to develop skills in health economics. It provides the opportunity to follow a more econometrics based pathway underpinned by microeconomic theory, while taking the core modules required to study health economics (economic evaluation and modelling for health care decision making). The programme is targeted at those with an undergraduate economics-based degree and a desire to obtain a technical training relevant for a career in which these skills can be applied to the health care sector nationally and internationally.
