The Birmingham-Jinan MBA programme, totally taught abroad and delivered entirely in English, is a jointly cooperated part-time program held by Birmingham Business School and the School of Management at Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. This represents a flying faculty arrangement, with the award of a University of Birmingham degree.
An approved Bachelor�s Degree or above from a recognised university. Equivalent professional qualifications will also be considered. GPA (Grade Point Average) 3.0 or above 5 years of relevant management work experience. IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in any band) or TOEFL 580 (with writing no less than 4.0) or IBT93 (listening 21, reading 22, speaking 23, writing 21 ) or pass the English test held by University of Birmingham.
Compulsary modules taught by faculty of University of Birmingham: Strategic management i (strategic analysis of international business); strategic marketing; human resource management; financial management; international business environment. Optional modules (taught by faculty of Jinan University) choose 3 optional modules from the list below: Enterprise social responsibility; e-business and digital marketing; operations management; cross-cultural leadership; strategic management II (strategic control); international mergers and acquisitions.
