Designed for individuals who wish to broaden and develop their knowledge and skills through practice, you will study issues of photographic culture, image economies, and visual representation. You will develop an understanding of how the practice of creating photographs is influenced and informed by these issues through a series of research-informed practical assignments. The course is designed to be accessible to a wide constituency from graduates to working professionals.

Entry requirements

1st or Upper 2nd BA (Hons) photography, or BA (Hons) in any subject plus 2 years professional experience in the industry, or a 1st or Upper 2nd BA (Hons) in a related subject with a major project in photography; special consideration is given to candidates who do not have these qualifications but who have significant experience in the field of photography and are able to present a strong portfolio as part of their application; portfolio of photography and examples of written work, to be discussed and assessed at interview, demonstrating applicant's suitability and aptitude for the course.
