Games Computing and Creative Technologies Specialisms
This course offers applicants an opportunity to focus their studies in an area that is of personal or professional relevance; supervision is available in the following areas: mediated communication and HCI; e-learning and e-commerce; relational agents; artificial intelligence; physical character animation modelling; emotioneering and biofeedback; sound engineering and computer game sound.
For the MPhil, or PhD via MPhil: Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant subject; applications with alternative qualifications demonstrating appropriate knowledge and skills to begin doctorate-level study are considered; applicants whose 1st language is not English require a recognised English language qualification at the appropriate level for this course, i.e. IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
As well as regular meetings with supervisors, there will be an annual review of progress by means of a formal submission to the school�s research committee.
