Games Development

The course has been designed around commercial team-based project developments. You will take part in a series of projects with other students from the programme, forming a commercial entity to undertake this work. You will receive direct experience of working as an independent developer and graduate with several published games to your name. In between the projects, focused teaching based on the latest research and industry trends will be provided, and you will have your opportunity to demonstrate your understanding immediately on the next project. Tools and project concepts will be flexibly selected based on the composition of the development teams, and their specific competencies, taking into account the learning materials that have been presented.

Entry requirements

You should have at least a second class UK honours degree (2:2), or an equivalent qualification, in an appropriate games-focused undergraduate degree; if English is not your first language you will also normally need IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent). If you do not have the required English level, you can study English with us from IELTS 4.0 (or equivalent).
