Upper 2nd Class Honours degree (2.1) in civil engineering; applicants with a Lower 2nd Class Honours degree (2.2) in civil engineering are considered only exceptionally and in discussion with their employer; applicants with other qualifications equivalent to the above that are deemed acceptable to the school are considered; applicants should have passed final level units in structures, hydraulics and soil mechanics in their civil engineering Honours degree; if applicants have not studied previous qualifications in English a TOEFL score of at least 575 (written)/230 (computer-based) or an academic IELTS score of at least 6.5 is required.
PG Cert: Advanced structural analysis; appraisal and re-use of old buildings; geotechnical engineering; geotechnical modelling and analysis; urban drainage systems; concrete technology and sustainability; assessment and repair of concrete structures; transport analysis.
PG Dip: Certificate-level modules, plus: project management; construction law and sustainable procurement; environmental management.
MSc: All modules plus a dissertation.
