The course seeks to strike a balance between advanced study of heterogeneous network infrastructure and computing systems and the study of the development of applications for new devices and technologies (mobile, ubiquitous, wearable).
2.2 Honours degree or above in (or a course which contained a significant proportion of) computer Science or mathematics or engineering; applicants without the formal qualifications but with (approximately 5 years) relevant work experience are welcome. IELTS at 6.0 or the equivalent.
Core modules: mobile applications; networks and protocols; software systems for e-business and the world wide web (www); dissertation; options; security, privacy and data protection; information engineering; artificial intelligence for games; artificial intelligence with applications; computer graphics; digital image processing; human-computer interaction (design and development); multimedia systems; web engineering.
