Computer Animation and Visual Effects
The programme aims to enable students to develop advanced knowledge, skills and understanding of creative technologies, in particular within the field of computer animation.
2.2 Honours degree or above containing a significant component in computing, digital arts, art and design or related fields from an approved degree awarding body. 2.2 Honours degree in a subject other than computing or digital arts, but can demonstrate sufficient relevant experience in computing, digital arts, animation or graphics. IELTS at 6.0 or the equivalent.
Core modules: computer animation; motion capture; visualisation and storyboarding; 3-dimensional character modelling and animation; computer-generated special effects; computer animation and special effects project; options; cinematic language; visual arts and digital media; build your own enterprise; issues in digital media.
