Advanced Practice (Cancer Care)
This programme offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to engage in full-time or part-time postgraduate studies and to develop the skills to meet the challenges of delivering and advancing quality healthcare within a global context.
Access to clinical practice; good Honours degree, or equivalent; 2 years' relevant experience after 1st registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. English language requirements: IELTS at 6.5 or the equivalent.
Cancer - understanding treatment, management and care; advanced competency based learning in clinical practice; clinical examination and case management (skin cancer); genetics and health; management of lung cancer, chronic respiratory diseases and breathlessness; assessment skills and history taking; undertaking systematic review; research methods in health and social care; dissertation module; systematic review; work-based project.
