Cancer Pharmacology

This programme is designed to provide students with an expert view of the available cancer medicines and the development of new cancer therapies. Students learn from expert researchers who have developed a 'smart bomb' to target all solid tumours without harming healthy tissue. Students have access to dedicated research facilities in our specialist Institute of Cancer Therapeutics and be part of a diverse postgraduate community.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree or above in a science subject; applications are welcome from candidates with non standard qualifications, with significant relevant experience. IELTS at 6.0 or the equivalent.

Course modules

All years: Molecular basis of cancer and cancer therapy; preclinical models for drug development; cancer pharmacology; research and analytical methods; critical appraisal; experimental design; research project.
