Clinical Pharmacy (Hospital)

This course allows students to complete the General Level Framework and develop the skills they need to progress through the Agenda for Change bandings. With a firm focus on preparation for lifelong learning and critical thinking, this course helps students to improve and apply their knowledge of clinical pharmacy, working in the NHS and research skills, as well as ensuring they meet their CPD requirements. There is also the opportunity to choose an optional component in the second year to develop your knowledge in an area of interest.

Entry requirements

To apply for this course students need to be working in the UK; be registered with the GPhC; have access to patients; have employer support. IELTS score of at least 7.0 in each of the 4 subsets (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

Course modules

All years: pharmacist development in the nhs; foundations of clinical practice; applied therapeutics; research methods and audit; clinics in practice; aseptics in practice; dissertation.

Dissertation.
