Health Promotion and Education
The course enables students to understand the complex and dynamic nature of health promotion processes, and to relate these to underlying themes of social and health inequalities and to their own values and practices; the course is aimed at students wishing to focus on educational aspects of health promotion delivery.
Please note that for this route there is a prerequisite that students carry out a set number of hours as formal teaching in their job whilst carrying out the course; normally 1st degree plus relevant experience; other applicants must demonstrate ability to study at postgraduate level; all applicants are interviewed; English speaking students from overseas particularly welcome; for non-native speakers of English: IELTS 6.5 overall and 6 in writing.
