The programme assists students to: undertake critical reflection upon own professional practice; question, explore and enhance professional practice, through substantive and original research; develop, through the thesis and other work, an original contribution to knowledge and practice within own profession; disseminate research outcomes, and to manage change, in order to advance practice within the profession.
A 1st Class Honours degree or 2.1 Honours degree or other qualification in a related discipline; alternatively, appropriate research or professional experience at postgraduate level.
