University of Brighton
This course is for university graduates looking to develop their entrepreneurial abilities within the corporate world, start their own business or franchise or return to the family business with senior responsibilities; the course will enhance students' employability by developing a broad range of management knowledge and skills, strengthening their capacity for geographical and cultural mobility, and improving their ability to work as part of a multinational team.
Individual offers may vary; normally a good Honours degree or equivalent is required; work experience is useful but not essential; applicants with non-standard entry qualifications will be considered; if students are unsure whether they meet the entry requirements they should contact us; in order to benefit from, contribute to and enjoy the course, a good command of spoken and written English language is required; if English is not the student's 1st language they will need English language proficiency equivalent to an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5, with 6 in the written test.
Practical experience is central to the course; students will have opportunities to: gain work experience (and a salary) through an employment-based project; visit companies and meet senior managers; develop consultancy skills during consultancy skills workshops; use specialised diagnostic and management development tools; join a tutor-led study visit to another European country.
