Public Service Management
The Public Service Management MBA will enhance your professional and personal skills, challenge you and your organisation, and aid your career progression into senior managerial positions. By developing your knowledge, confidence and competence, the Public Service Management MBA will help you address complex organisational problems in a fast-changing political and global environment. The course emphasises the need for a combination of soft and hard management skills. It promotes creative problem-solving, communication, multidisciplinary thinking, team work, leadership and management skills. The focus is on developing your knowledge in an applied and integrated way. The MBA is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). All graduates gain dual awards - both an MBA and a CMI Strategic Diploma in Management and Leadership. During your studies you will benefit from free membership of both the Institute of Directors and the CMI. At least 3 years management or professional experience, plus a degree or equivalent professional qualification. Applicants with at least 5 years management or professional experience do not need a degree or equivalent qualification. A good command of spoken and written English language is required. If English is not the students native language English language proficiency equivalent to an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5, with 6 in the written test is required. The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) can strengthen an application.
