Individual offers may vary. Degree and/or experience: normally a good Honours degree or equivalent is required. A degree in any subject will be considered. Work experience is useful but not essential. Other: a short interview, either in person or by phone/email, is required before being accepted onto the course.
A compulsory Social Marketing module is taught over four consecutive days, with additional supervision and assessment time. On completion of this module students can choose to follow one of two routes:the work-based route or the modules route. Modules route (choose two): meeting the challenges: public health; research methods for critical appraisal; behavioural economics; the dynamic public service environment; service planning and commissioning; sustainable joint working; marketing for the not-for-profit sector.
Assessment is composed of a mix of coursework, project work and examinations.
