Finance and Accounting

Our Finance and Accounting MSc will help students develop an in-depth knowledge of financial theory and practice, research methods, financial markets, financial accounting and management accounting. It aims to provide the skills necessary to advise on financial accounting standards, solve complex business problems and address contemporary issues in financial theory and practice. Students will be taught by experienced professionals who are active in consultancy and maintain excellent business contacts. This ensures that the course is industry-focused and continually updated to meet the changing nature of the financial sector. Guest speakers are regularly invited to discuss curriculum topics, so attendees get professional insights into contemporary finance and accounting issues. You will develop advanced research skills that, as well as providing a solid foundation for your dissertation, will be sought after by employers. A specialist option and dissertation provide opportunities to tailor the studies to individual interests and a chosen career path.
