International Health Promotion

The course will benefit you if you are a professional in any of a range of fields, including health and care professions, local authorities, and voluntary sectors. It gives you the opportunity to earn a postgraduate degree and improve your health promotion practice for personal or professional development.

Entry requirements

Good Honours degree or equivalent recognised award; candidates with professional qualifications and directly relevant experience are also considered; for non-native speakers of English: IELTS 7 overall and 6.5 in other elements.

Course modules

Core modules: Foundations of health promotion and global health promotion or community, culture and wellbeing; health promotion practice; international dimension of health promotion (placement module); a research methods module from the School of Health Sciences postgraduate education programme; dissertation.
