Advanced Mechanical Engineering

The main objective of this programme is to produce graduates with the ability to plan, execute and produce reports on technical projects for industry and academia. The programme is composed of taught units, assessed by examination and coursework submission, and a major research project supervised by academic staff in the department. The facilities and expertise in the Department of Mechanical Engineering have earned us consistently high rankings in university league tables and an internationally excellent rating for research.

Entry requirements

An upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in an engineering-based subject.
