Mechanical Engineering

Engineering research at Bristol is organised into a number of faculty-level research groups. The majority of staff in the Department of Mechanical Engineering are members of one of the following research groups: Dynamics and Control, Solid Mechanics, Engineering Systems and Design, Ultrasonics and Non-destructive Testing, Robotics and Fluid and Aerodynamics. Applicants are advised to contact a potential academic adviser to discuss available projects before submitting an application.

Entry requirements

An upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
