The programme is for students interested in a wide range of aspects of teaching, learning, linguistics, narrative enquiry, management and policy. It has recently been updated and restructured to provide a coherent and structured learning experience that supports students to become independent researchers.

Entry requirements

An upper 2nd Class Honours degree (or international equivalent); a Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Education; and at least 3 years appropriate professional experience.

Learning; leading educational change; educational policy; comparative research; leading, managing and governing the 21st-century university; learning and teaching in the global university; evaluating educational quality and improvement; research methods in learning leadership and policy; TESOL/applied linguistics; 2nd language pronunciation and fluency; language and communication; researching language classrooms; testing and assessment in language learning; narrative inquiry; narrative enquiry; auto-ethnography; writing as enquiry; narrative interviewing; visual enquiry.
