Environmental Policy and Management

This programme is aimed at graduates seeking to enter, or upgrade their expertise in the fields of environmental management, policy, protection, and advocacy. The demanding curriculum develops skills and knowledge needed for professional employment in the public, private, and 3rd sectors, including consultancies and non-governmental organisations.

Entry requirements

An upper 2nd Class Honours degree (or equivalent).

Course modules

Core modules: corporate environmental management; environmental policy and politics; climate change: science and impacts; introduction to remote sensing and GIS for earth system science applications; practical statistics for use in research and policy; plus 1 from: migration, mobility and environment; violent environments. Optional units are subject to availability and revision, and vary each year; dissertation: you will complete a research dissertation of 15,000 words.
